aight, due to money problems my friend had to sell his ls swap and bought a vx swap for cheap. he has an eg hatch, dx model. but he ended up with an EX wiring harness and a VX ecu, and since i've only had an ek and ef i need a lil help wiring this up. i know the smart thing to do would be to find the vx wiring harness but hes short on cash and time
i know the vx ecu reads for the 5 wire o2, so that will need to be changed. but i'll need to know what other changes will need to be made to the EX harness and the different pinouts if any.
any help would be greatly appreciated. please no post by the "search" ****'s
THANX!!!!!!

Hrm, why didn't he just purchase a D16Z6? Very good bang for buck for a commuter car/daily driver/non racer
EDIT:
But he didn't do that did he...lol
There's a how-to somewhere around here, think it's on the "putting a Y8 mani on a Z6 engine" how-to that tells u how to change the wire IACV's
I just remeber reading it when I read the how-to, I don't know if it'll apply here, go check it out...it's in the archive at the top of this forum

yea the z6 would've been an easier deal, but the vx was cheap and already available. around here z6 and y8 motors are always in demand, and are usually sold within 2 days.

went to my friends and put on the harness, the differences were obvious. so i really just needed to do some homework. i figured i'd post so incase anyone ever needed the info. these are the pinouts for the added wires (for use with vx ecu p07) since the EX harness has no egr plug and needs one wire for the 5 wire o2. since ex harness is wired for vtec i only have to add vtec wires for strut mounted plug location to the ecu (already prewired if yours is from 92 of course, ours was a 95)

just incase needed: vtec wires
vtec solenoid- A4
vtec pressure- D6
