Default No Power?... Need Help

Greeting all, I am new to here, sorry for having question to be my first post

Well... I got a question that just keeps boring me...

I got a 88 CRX with a JDM B16A swap (with ecu - code is "37820-PR3-J50"), and with not bad mods... like exhaust, intake, etc...

At first, I thought the HP of my car is not bad at all
But my friends keep telling me that my car has no power (I didn't trust them at first)
Until today, I've driven my friend's 98 Civic ex with everything stock...
God, his car has just as much as power as my car!

And also, one of my friends, has a 89 CRX also with a B16A swap...
compare to my car... damn... his car just got much much more HP than mine... but his engine is very old and even dying recently... but still can push out more HP than my stupid car...

Well... if nothing is wrong... my car shouldn't have that "much" horse power...

I mean, what do you guys think the problem is?

Actually, when I drive my car, I can smell a lot of gas coming out from my car... but it has no leaking at all when I stop my car and check...
Is that mean like my car running rich? (not sure what it means, but guys from another forum told me so)

what should I do to my car? what should I check to make sure everything is right? or should I just take it to a mechanic?

Thank you very much, really need your help

There could be a lot of things causing low performance.
plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter?
is the timing set correctly?
clogged cat or faulty o2 sensor?
compression test and vacuum leak tested?

I'd say do as many of these things as you can by yourself or with the help of friends.

Thanks for everyone

actually... plugs and wires are brand new

I did the compression test and vacuum leak test before

Compression test show me the range with 205 - 215 (I think is very good for a B16A)
Afor the vacuum test I got no leakage at all (thanks god )

I also did a timing adjustment before

the header and the exhaust system are very new too (so as the converter)

and I have had a mechanic helps me to replace a new o2 sensor before

also, no, no engine check light is on.

I've also checked the ecu error code, got a "no blink" result...

what I was think is may be the fuel injection or fuel pump? or fuel filter has problem? Could it be? Cuz I really smell a lot of gas when I start my car... especially when I step on gas... but... how do I check it? where should I start from?

I also agree that EndlessDc2... may be is the driver problem, but I am not the one who did the test drive... and both of the friends agree that my car is like losing power

Thank you very much guys, thanks for the time ><"
