Default clutch cable questions

hey all, is it possible to mod a civic (91) clutch cable(too short) to fit a b-series trans (w/hydro kit)?
i was thinking of cutting the cable housing down, like an inch or trimming the bushing at the end of the cable.
or will any other clutch cables work(accord etc) besides integra?
is the integra cable actually thicker than the civic?
thanks for any help

if i could find one, what do you think the price of a integra clutch cable would be at a junk -yard.

I got a new one at the dealer for about $38.

use one from a 90-93 integra. they are longer and have the same ends as the 88-91 civics. i believe you are supposed to use this for a b series swap anyway, and it works fine on a hydro conversion

it's not thinner. just longer over all. just out of curiosity, why would it have to be thinner?

oh no i dont want it thinner, i was thinking that the integra cable may be thicker(stronger) than the civic. so if they are the same thickness, i just saved some $$...
