Default Hello everyone

Hey what's going on everyone.

I'm new here and I would like to just say Hi.

I came here looking for answer to help better my ride.

I own a 93 Integra GSR fully stock, I love the classic DA Style body and I'm not here to rice out my car.

I bought the car from a private seller and right away It was giving me an exhaust leak, so I investigated my problem and took out the catback exhaust pipe all the way back to the muffler and found 2 tiny holes that cracked within the pipe... I didn't let it bother me too much given the fact it's a stock catback/exhaust and it's about 13 years old.. So my question is.. I don't want no rice can exhaust.. I heard the RS-R Mag are nice on the 94+ integra, But do they have them for the 90-93 Integra? If they do, is it a direct bolt on or would I need to replace everything from the headers down to the exhaust?

If they do make it, no, it will bolt up right to the cat, tahts why they are called "catback Exhaust", meaning it bolts up to your stock cat

We'll at first after a few days of driving the car after I purchased it, one morning I fired up the car and it idle fine but then I hard this rattling noise from beneath the car so I went and duck down to listen for the noise ... found out it was rattling near the CAT end toward the exhaust so I knew I had to take the whole exhaust off and check what it was...

Here's what I did..
Unbolt the exhaust pipe from the downpipe all the way back to the muffler

After tipping the exhaust end I was able to get the junk out.. These black rocks are harder than ROCKS!.. I had to use a hammer and smash one open so here's a picutre of that..

And these are my 2 holes that I was talking about cause of old age I assume?

I found out that RS-R company have a RS-R Ex Mag for 470 shipped for the DA so that helped alot..

I would like to know how the heck did these HUGE chunk of BLACK CRAP developed or got into the Exhaust?? And what are they!!? Carbon buildup? Why does it looks like a Rock and Hardens as tuff as a ROCK!

Are you Effing serious!? .. I didn't know that. We'll ****, Good to know... doesn't really matter now because my RS-R is on it's way

But on the other hand, any ideas on what those black rocks are? How did they form?

I would like more information because what if it tries to form again on the RS-R exhaust??

It just makes me feel better knowing how that crap formed.

I can't post more than 5 posting per 24 hour because i'm new.. so i'll edit this and post the pix of my gsr
