Okay so my friends right axle keeps busting. He bought one lifetime warranty axle, and has already gotten 2 replacements in only a few days. Whenever we installed the new axle it would have play but it can't go in any farther. Is it the housing? Or is the transmission just giving out and causing the axle to break?

edit: the car is a '92 Integra LS.

 

a buddy of mine was having similar problems..his pass side axle would keep poping out of place..he check the lock rimg and everything was good but it would just keep poping out on him..i saw him today and he said it ended up being a busted diff.

i havent heard many cases like this so i doubt its very common but you might want to consider it

LET ME GUESS autozone axel huh man my civic was doing this i changed it like 10times untill gave up 10new axel no differnt i got a carquest one and no problem

 

He works there so im pretty sure it is. haha.

no man autozone axels are messing up man i got one and got it exchanged 10 time my brother got one pop out on him i dont know autozone axel aint like it use to be
