I'm putting together a site that lists parts and places to buy parts for the Civic and CRX, and am trying to come up with the different Civics (and CRXs) that were available and what engine they had.

I've done some searching and this is what I've come up with. Is this list correct?

Civic DX 1987-1991 1.5L I4 SOHC
Civic LX 1987-1991 1.5L I4 SOHC
Civic Si 1987-1991 1.6L I4 SOHC
Civic EX 1987-1991 1.5L I4 SOHC

I don't have the CRX specs.. I know they are a variation of one of the above though??

I don't think they were from 87-91, but I do know that the EX did not come out until 1990.

 

you need to learn a lot more about hondas before you attempt to make a list like that....

Keep in mind.. the list is NOT for cars produced for Japan, Canada, UK.. etc.

I am aware there are hundreds of variations, dozens of swaps you can do.

This list is for what Grandma might of had to choose from when she walked into the dealership 18 years ago.

Looks like they were from 88. Thanks for pointing that error out.

I will fix the EX as well.

what about the civic std, d15b1 and the crx hf, d15b6 (i think...?)

 

there was no Si for 88 model year civic, only crx.

Ok for one thing the B16A1 was not in a CRX, it was in a Del Sol. And another thing its not a SOHC.
