do all models from 2000 to 2006 come with hid equiped?? from what i've seen, looks like it comes with projector headlight, but not sure if they are HID equipped. thanks.

HID's are standard on the car

Well........ kinda. AP1 does have a cupholder, no? Its just REALLY small........and it does have a door locl switch..... on drivers side if u lock lol.

HID's don't come with those S2000's that have plastic windows. So if you're out to steal one to get the car's HID setup, don't take a MY2000 or a MY2001, ok?

BTW, mine's a MY2000...not worth taking.

no. i am not trying to steal or anything. but you brought up a good point. which models have plastic rear windows and which model has glass windows??

also, if i buy a model with plastic rear, can i change to softtop with glass?? and how much would that cost??

See answer to your question in my previous post.

There are some people that swapped over a window'd soft top on their plastic window soft top frame. They had to modify the mounting just a little bit.

There are some others that swapped out the whole plastic window'd frame with softop and easily bolted in the whole window'd frame with softtop back in.

Cost is varied....depending on how much you cna find the softtop or the softtop + frame for. $800 - $1200.

Seeing that I've followed the concept and the eventual developement of the SSM/S2000 since very late '94, and owned my S2000 since Feb. 2000, there's not much I don't know about the S2000 ideology or the product itself, especially the MY2000 S2000.
