this is the desciption: This chip will modify the timing curve to increase horsepower throughout the power band. It will also increase the amount of fuel injected into the engine under acceleration. Installing this chip will eliminate the speed governor.

· Expect about 7-20 horse power gain.

· Redline: 8200 rpm

go ahead go rev to 8,200 with a stock usdm f22b , its a waste of money unless your motors all built up.

haha, even if your motors "all built up" its a waste of money
after you spend a hefty amount of $$ are you gonna wanna run a generic map chipped ecu thats not taylored for your individual setup?

1. Spoon never made anything for an Accord (if they did, I haven't seen it)
2. The stock chip is designed to provide the most power and reliability out of your stock motor
3. Why would you throw a chip in that's not tailored specifically to your car???

Don't waste your money.... trust me, it will cost you more in the long run than simply the cost of the chip.

You don't need injectors with basic mods, nor will they help you any. Besides, with larger injectors, you would need a programmable ECU, and you would need to get the car tuned.

this is why you don't just "wing it" and do stupid mod to your car when you have no idea what are you doing.

seriously if you fall for that spoon chip, it's a good idea to ask someone that knows a little bit better before forking out more greens

hahaha 8200 redline. the stock tach doesnt even go that high. and note that the AP2's F22C wasnt even made to rev that high safely, you really think your accord can out rev a S2000 with a stock motor and a "spoon" chip?

Don't bother wasting the money.

Assuming you could rev to 8200rpm, your cam won't be making any power up that high. And the governor thing... I don't think the OBD1 Accords were governed, they just lacked any power to go faster than 115'ish (by the stock speedo).
