I am looking for a harness that I can just plug into the b16a motor and then plug it into the plugs in my engine bay and then thats it....???? ANYONE >>>>???

 

u cant...u have to get ur dx harness converted to mpfi n vtec...n if u want obd1 u have to get the harness to convert to obd1 which is 100 bux..

We usually have DX cores in stock for $80 extra, but this week we're out. should have more around the 2nd of August.
If you do find a DX harness, we can convert it for $175.00

 

so there is no way to but this harness already done??? I have to figure this out....

Well does anyone know of someone that does wiring in the PA area for maybe they can figure it out?

 

You might have to box up your DX harness along with the b16 harness and send it to Hasport, they will do the job for you, you will get one harness back wich you will just have to plug in that's it, if you need any information talk to Clayton at Kingmotorsports, he helped me out.

whats so hard about it, you send them your core, then send you back a working harness with instructions on the changes to make by the ecu.

its not plug and play like you ask, theres no possible way. since theres extra wires that dont exist on the cars interior harness. thats the part people never understand.

for example, the dx has like 16 wires going through the firewall, the b16 needs like 22.

so the extra 6 wires need to be run to the ecu. but the plugs for the ecu are NOT on the engine harness. thats the harness for inside the car. the only way to remove it is to rip apart the whole inside of the car.

which is NOT worth it.

so you take your DX engine harness core, send it to rywire, they make a harness that plugs into the factory harness at the 2 shock towers under the hood and they label the extra wires that you put directly to the ecu.

its that simple man. to do all that by hand requires:

1) do your own MPFI swap on your dx harness
2) run the 4 wires for the b16

search on here with archive checked its been covered 100 times.

OR find a shop to do it for you.

OR just pay rywire to do it and be done.

 

Did multi point and ran vtec just having problems with the dizzy the 1.5 harness has a square clip and I took the b16 harness clip and it works but there are 5 wires on the d15 clip and 7 on the b16 one there are two extras blu/grn(c1) blu/wht (c2) cly sensors it says on the pinout that these need to go to b10 and b12 but not to sure can someone explain?

you sure the b16 is obd0 and not obd1???

 

yup sending to a shop got the wiring done, it was not that hard just takes time. I rather learn.... I have to send it to a shop I and having trans probs ....thanks everyone...
