Default new clutch and/or flywheel?

So I have the PSPEC shoft shifter on my 5th gen prelude for 2 months now. its good. only 1 problem, the **** gets really really HOT if I leave the car in the sun for more than 30 mins. I have to keep a towel on the **** to hold and shift gears.

Anyways... so now I want to get a new clutch and/or flywheel. But Im clueless on what to buy and from where.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

Depend on your set up and future goal. Nobody could really tell you what to buy. That is your call. Exedy, ACT, Clutchmasters, Centerforce all make very good clutches and flywheels. I used Centerforce stage 2, Dual friction along with Clutchmasters flywheel, ACT Prolite flywheel before. Very happy with all of them.

For some reason a lot of luders prefer Exedy. I prefer clutchmasters. Most people seem to like Fidanza 8lb. flywheels.

The general concensus on this web-site would be Exedy clutch, with Fidanza 8lbs fly wheel. Good deals can be had on ebay. And searching the archives will probably turn you up some good info also

I would steer clear of ACT, some dude posted on here that his pressure plate fucked his motor proper. After reading that post I wont buy ACT ever again.

i had a exedy stage 1 and a fidanza 8lb flywheel on my 95 Integra GSR and i just loved it. im going to by it again for my new 01 Lude.

Do not go with ACT (Action Clutch) - Lots of bad stories.

And oh yea you will get the best deal on EBAY!!!!

IMO, the kaiten flywheel is the best. It is 8.8 pounds.

I've been running ACT stage3 clucth with their 8lb pro fly wheel for two years, with no issues, it all depends on who did the install and making sure its done right.
