i searched but i couldn't find anything definitive. does anybody here still have the directions that came with the gen2 toda camgears? what are the torque specs for the allen bolts? tnx a lot

Dont quote me on this, but I think it is 7 ft-lbs. I may be wrong, but that is just what is comming to memmory.

 

tnx. can anybody confirm this figure? last thing i want to do is to strip the bolt or have it back out on me

.....that is the figure that comes to my mind as well. I've been torquing my toda allen cam gear bolts to this for several years now.

Why not call http://www.todaracing.com and ask them?

 

i'd like to call them, but i'm in the Philippines, long distance calls are expensive

I have already tried to call them for him. They open at 9:00am PST, so they should be open, but I keep getting thier machine.

 

I just got through to Toda Racing.

They said the spec range is 1.2 to 1.5 kilogram-meters, which is 8.7 to 10.8 ft-lbs
