I need to know how people feel about the B16A engine. as seen here http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30002
I know its a cheap engine. I was reading the "whats swaps are avalible for my civic" thread. It has good hp #'s but bad torque like a D engine. It also said it might come w/ high mileage.
Okay. all I want to know is, the people who have swaped this engine in, how they feel about it.

coming from your current motor, you wont be. when you rev it till 8200 rpm, you'll feel as if its going forever

i got a b16a in my cx hatch and it feels pretty nice,a bit lagging under 3 grand but from there until 8200 it pulls quite hard, but ne way a good swap for the price,go for it!

I own a JDM b16 in an EM1. Slow at first but when Vtec comes in people can hear it from mile away. I beat the **** out of it all day and it never had problem! B16 VtaCCK!

It'll be much more fun than your current engine, but when you still get your *** handed to you by stock WRX Imprezas, Mustang GTs, 350Zs, Ford Focus SVTs and 2004+ Accord V6s don't come crying to us
Seriously though: start saving for a turbokit immediately after your purchase. You'll thank me later
