how come no one has swapped a k series into a 88-91 civic sedan? are theyre any reasons not to?

well im about to sell my crx and was thinking of picking up a sedan and plan on doing some sort of swap. i think a sedan with a k would be siiiick. it would be hard to find a clean sedan with no rust around here

well i just had never seen any pics or posts of these swaps so i figured there was a reason for it.

 

Probably because the K series isn't cost-effective?

I mean come on....6K for like 220-240 hp?

There's better (cheaper, more convenient, less hyped up) ways of getting that kind of power.

When the prices start coming down a little bit on K's you'll see a ton more.

agreed theres a guy around here with a k eg and i do not believe he is a honda-techer

 

i wasnt talking about a eg i was talking about an ef sedan. what motor would be more cost effective? and dont say an H22

a built b-series

 

i have a ef sedan with a b16 swap and it works great no one ever thinks its fast, untill i pull away from them, then i get the same reaction every time " what do you have done to that?"

 

do you have any pictures of it?

a gutted crx is not quick with a b16, i dont see how a sedan with the same swap could be consired as quick. unless you have other mods.

no doubt, some of you might be surprised just how big your local honda following is. I know I was.

Ive seen an EF hatch with a K in it. They had to cut the bracing from the underside of the hood. Other then that.. Well it was possible

D3U1LT Has plans of doing a Kseries swap in a sedan Its gunna be totaly sick dude.. Id love to see a k swaped sedan ( just because somethings more cost effective doesn't meens better, Or we'd al be rolling turboed VW bugs.. or big block Chevy Novas...so sush bunch a h8ers i tell ya -_-).
