So I have a Y1 tranny without LSD. The transmission has a bad grind when shifting into 3rd even when taking it easy. The other problem is that the car has recently started popping out of 5th gear while driving. On a 20 minute drive home the other day it popped out at least 20 times. So my question is should I have it repaired and get a quaife LSD, or try finding another Y1 with LSD or say a YS1 with LSD?

 

Let me tell you this. A gearspeed rebuilt transmission will outlast any stock Honda tranny. I did mine for under a grand.

 

Gearspeed rebuilt transmission? Is that a company that sells trannys?
