severe ecu problems...please help!! pw0
Ok, i was attempting to rig up my vss (electronic) to my pw0 ecu for my b16a1. i accidentally cut the wrong wire - b12 to be exact (b16 is the necessary wire to cut for vss). i didnt realize this right away, instead i connected the power wire from the vss to b12. i started the car and realized that there was a code 4 and it was running in limp mode. i disconnected all vss wires and reconnected b12 - my car still throws a code 4, why? i do not know. is it possible that i fried my ecu? im running out of ideas, ive traced and retraced crank position sensor wires c01 and c02 thinking that maybe these wires became loose. what other wires on the A, B, or C clips might cause a code 4. p.s. anyone in the philadelphia area wanna help me with this during the weekend??? anyone have a pw0 for sale?
If u find out that u fried your PW0, i have a spare i can sell you. PM me if interested.
I remember when i burned out an ECU i could actually smell it when I removed the ecu cover. It sucked...but give it a sniff
