Rear end feels very loose
I have no clue what happened just driving and heard a klunk then the rear end feelt really loose. I jack up the back and looked and I couldnt see any damage or anything broken. could it just be an adjustment??
I take it it's the 91 right.
How I found my bushing's were bad was kicking the tire forward and backward.
Compare the movement with the other side. Should move like 1/8" not 3/4"
This is for the trailing arm. To check the rest out, jack the car up and do the wiggle test. Push in and pull out on the top of the tire, then bottom and so on. Once you find it get a friend to wiggle and look to see where the slop is.

bushing, your car is at least 15 years old by now, regardless of how much care you take care of the car there are some parts that are bound to be worn out.
I just put in all new bushings less than 3 months ago. energy suspension. but it still feels weird. maybe my tires? I checked and made sure that they were all at 32psi. but it still feels loose when cornering. yes it is a 91 civic si. koni fully adjustables. tommorow I plan to lift it up and check all the bushings and all my suspension parts and make sure all the bolts are tightened.

probrabbly trailing arm bushings, they always go shot because of their design, check this out http://www.drivewire.com/honda....html they have replacedments, rubber too not poly garbage for a pretty good price, or search for the mugen rubber replacements online, i've heard they are much stiffer rubber.

the honda ta bushings are available individually, and are very close, if not the same, to the mugen bush's. the topic has been beaten around for a while here and in the rr/ax forum.
