I searched but couldn't find the name of anything. I did see a few recommendations on Synchromesh (searched on google... says made for GM and Chrysler gearboxes) . Is this what I should use? Or is there anything made strictly for Hondas?


Edit: Nevermind on the Chrysler and GM stuff. Searched a little deeper and figured that was only for the Penzoil brand.

If you go synchromesh, you need to get #12377916. It's friction modified, which is what helps the syncros

If you are grinding multiple gears, I think you have other problems. It's pretty rare to grind more than one gear.

I hope it turns out to the the tranny fluid, but don't be surprised if it's not.

Yes, just get Pennzoil Synchromesh. It's the same as the GM brand, just cheaper.

 

It's not all my gears... just 3rd for me. My girlfriend has a 2nd gear grind and I hear most people get the fifth gear.
