Feels like my Rev Limiter is coming on at 5k.....Helpppppppppppppppppp
I have a 00 gsr with a t3/t4 turbo, running 6psi, with stock injectors-(i have RC440 injectors and UR ss pulley set i'm installing this week), Tial FMU with all stock internals.
When my car gets between 5k and 5.5k rpms my car feels as if my rev limiter comes on, and i'm forced to switch gears. But my car dosn't redline untill 8k.
I heard it might be low oil so i checked it and it was slightly low so i added a half quart and ran my car down a straight away and the problem re-occured.
I took my plugs out and they looked fine, but how can i go about testing my wires, rotor, distributor cap, and coil????
If these things above are all fine what else could cause this problem or do you think it defintly is involved with the list above.

come back when you have the injectors installed and tuned. if you still experience the problem, it's more likely that there will be a quick and easy resolution.
don't beat up your car running that fmu unless you have a wideband and knock sensor installed.

you are more than likely running out of fuel in that range. you are not smart for running a turbo gsr motor untuned. you should park the car and sit it until you have the money/time to get it tuned. it will blow up if you keep driving it like this untuned.

regap your plugs...and make sure you're running the correct heat range plugs.
if problems keep occuring, change your wires, cap, rotor, etc.

well i just tried, different gaps and heat range plugs, no go for me, my prob has to be coil and/or igniter, cause it was perfect after tune, hope your figure yours out man, good luck
you defenetly need to stop driving the car. your car is detonating you are running out of fuel. or it probably is going to blow up.
your motor is going to be toast soon..... get your car tunned, your running WAY lean.
Or you might want to start saving for another motor

what do you not understand about a BASE tune? do you not know that it is a base to go off of for tuning? Not something that you can put in and be magically tuned to the correct a/f ratio's and timing.... you are running LEAN
