Sweet Casey! This guy does take some great photos. For examples, you can look at the most current Honda Challenge race report here!

Hey Casey -
Not trying to discourage you, but just FYI the region is contracting with a local pro to shoot and sell at the track. I'm sure there will be some other groups there as well.
Your idea of signing up a couple of drivers ahead of time and focusing on them has merit though and should work - then you can get some of the pit/grid shots that are often missed.
Because this is a national level thing - not sure yet if photo credentials will be needed or not? I can try to keep you posted and assist in that area. I'll be taking pictures and driving in TT - we can chat once you get out there, I can show you a bunch of the great spots I like using at MidOhio (it's a great track to shoot).
Looking forward to meeting you,
- Mark

Hey Thanks Mark!
Yeah I'm hoping to have some magazine clientel as well. I should be good to go with my press credentials through John Lindsay and Ryan Flaherty. I'm really posting this to see if I can drum up enough business to make it worth my while.
I really do appreciate the offer on the spots shooting a new track and trying to find that magic place can be a pain
Besides John Thawley i'm kind of the local pro for so cal

Haters! All of you.
Visited my car today at her new home. She was nicely dressed in all of her Red Bull colors waiting for the day she'll once again do battle. However, not to rush or anything, I'll wait until after the Nationals to bring her out of hibernation. I'm in no hurry, but I'm starting to miss car racing. My bicycle racing is going a bit better, with a fourth and first place prime at the El Dorado Tuesday night circuit races. This Sunday, going to race the megabuck Cervelo time trial machine in a ten mile SBW club event at Carson. One thing is certain, the bike racing is no substitute for the car - and now I have a good reason to continue shaving my legs.
