I got two questions Im removing the wiring harness from a 90 civic ex theres three routes the harness goes inside if your lookin at it one small grouping goes up behind the radio still connected I disconnected the ecu and one larger groupin goes to the right idk where what parts do I need to run the d16a6 ......p.s. its equipped with ac and cruise

the wiring harness where it goes though the fire wall has three groupings of wires one to the ecu and the other two who the hell knows where they go I was wondering if they were important or just ran the cruise control and ac..........this is my first honda I was raised on v8s

 

OK I think i got you know are you talking about the 3 plugs that plug into the ECU, I believe there are 2 for the interior harness and 1 for the engine bay, you would need all 3 to have the car run, but I never tried without them all plugged in, let me know if thats what you want to know, or get a pic of what you are talking about and maybe someone else or myself could be more help

 

no theres three plugs goin to the ecu all bundled together. than theres another bundle of wires heading up behind the climate control and radio. and a larger bundle heading up the passenger side of the dash. and their all grouped together goin out the firewall

 

Hmm...are these the ones coming out near the fuse box under the hood, I don't if I can be of any help, are you just trying to get the motor to start with minimal conections?

 

no I just need to know if I need the other wires or just the three plugs goin to the ecu ...... thats all I dont know what the other ones run. what runs the gauges and ****?
