ecu you problems!!!!
hey yall im having problems with my p06-converted to-p28... i have a 2000 gsr and for some reason the 0bd1 runs hell of a lot slower then the stock obd2??? i still have the stock IM and i dont know if its because the the butterfly issue or the whole program its self.. top end seems kinda ok.. but from 5 grand and under its a whole different story.. it pulls as hard as a stock 1.6 singal cam civic.. i had a buddy reprogram it at least as soo i think he did.. and noo difference??/ please give me your opinions... PLEASE!.. thank you
should a get a stock p72 program?

its a bad base map you're running and your butterflies arent activated.. u better off sticking with p72 if u still have the stock manifold and just bolt on
Your modded p06 probably doesn't have the necessary electronics to activate the IAB. You will need that as well as the p72 code to activate the IAB.

hey thanks Motoman ill see what i can do... i know you have to be very care ful.. but is it really difficult? one more thing i am planning on getting a IM .. so if i get an aftermarket IM the IAB will be pointless then? thanks.
If you are going to get an IM then don't bother adding the IAB function. You can also then use the p30 codebase, which has more options than the p72 code, like better load based vtec engagement. If you do decide to add IAB functionality, it is not hard to solder the components in, but for the high side switch, I highly recommend you get one of those clip on heatsinks they sell at radioshack. The high side switch seems to be easy to burn.
