It has 4 thicker bolts on it...and comes off pretty easily. You should have no problem if you plan to remove it. Some ******** even take it off completely so thier shitty ebay body kits can fit. Safe huh? haha

its part of the frame, holds the front of the car up together

Bull, I've seen at least 3 (that I can remember off the top of my head) people that hit poll's around 15mph and totalled out their car due to lack of the connecting center rail that connects both frame rails...

None of them were hondas though so iono how it works :-\


Blah...but it was sad...ricers totalling perfect cars under 15mph doing doughnuts and shti understeering remove it for weight reduction...and the poll just goes right through the engine :-\ and pushes it into the firewall, it's sick..

Are you sure its welded on? I had to change mine because the person that had the car before me hit a pole or something. There are bolts on the inside of those holes near the ends which I didn't notice at first because I didn't look at a diagram. They are hard to see. It looks like #38 in the picture.
