so i was driving about 45 miles away and as i'm getting there it begins to show the battery light and all the lights began to dime. so it died and would start up when there was jumper cables conected so i went and just bought a new battery, the old one was wasted. It runs and everything, but the battery light is still on.....what can it be??? i checked all the wireing and made sure the battery was connected good....but the light is still on and i cant find the answer of why its still on. Can anyone help???

 

Your alternator is dead... you need a new one
