yah i dont see what the problem is with that.??!

I hated ******* with a paper clip to get a connection so I just cut it off but left myself slack incase i ever needed to hook it back up for whatever reason.

I just use a short length of thick gauge wire. I guess I've never had a problem getting a connection, and have never felt the need to cut the wires nor the connector off...

I just cut a 2 prong plug off my car wiring harness from my totalled Accord EX. The I just removed one of the wires and looped the other one. So if you wanted, you could just go to a junkyard and cut a 2 prong plug, that'll fit, off a car and do the same thing I did. Or just use a wire or paper clip like philadd and YeuEmMaiMai said.

here is a picture of what I use

They have something already like that in the steering wheel (on the bottom w/ two screws) IIRC it's called the ESM connector? Anyway, that's what I use.

yeah, thats the service connector for when you remove/replace the airbags I believe. You connect that to the airbag connection to help prevent the airbag from going off as your removing/replacing it. I want to say I remember reading that in the Helm manual, I may be mistaken though.
