What did you cut it with, a butterknife? (j/p)
I hope you still have to have the key right?
Id be afraid some dumbass would think they can steal the car and actually try it...
Put another kill switch in there too. Hide it well!

I think it's more of a bling factor

at OP:
Nice, tho shoulda used a drill bit and then circled it out (widened it) Woulda worked better..

Yes I realize the cutting of the part was done very poorly. No biggie I'm getting this panel piece from someone and will take my time this time.

Also, yes it is easier to steal haha but the car is not my daily driver and I have other means of security installed in there (both electical and mechanical). The car has been like this for months now.

And I did it cause it was fun figuring out how to do it and actually doing it and enjoying the results.

Yea, I'd do it if my Civic weren't a daily driver, more because it's a fun gadget, I don't bother with the concepts of "do I really need it" because I'd rather have fun than be an over analyzer. Don't ruin the fun...

Its awesome that you took initiative to turn a creative idea into a reality.

I would actually relocate the start engine button to be under the steering column and a much smaller more inconspicuous button. That will reduce your theft factor by a lot.

Yea but if he hides it then his bling factor is gone! lol...

I think its pretty cool, id just hide the kill switch, and probably put another one somewhere as well.
