I have a clifford avantgaurd 5 alarm and it seems to be in valet mode. I can lock/unlock the doors but my sensors don't seem to be working. I've never put it into valet mode but this is what it seems to be doing. It was working fine yesterday, then today it just seemed to be set on valet mode. I've tried turning the valet mode off, but that doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions? Thx.

Actually, before this happened, the LED seemed to have gone out about 1 week ago. I thought it was strange since LED are suppose to last a long time, but I haven't had time to see why it didn't work.

The valet switch inside the car doesn't seem to work either.

 

press "clifford" twice and then the lock/unlock button. LED should go out and alarm should be back to normal.

 

^ What he said if I remember right. I love my ag5 and haven't had any problems with it.

If all else fails and there's a real problem, take it back to the place that installed it for you because that alarm is lifetime warrantied if installed by an authorized dealer.
