s2000 swap for a civic
I was just wondering if any one has tried putting a f20c in any honda or acura vehicle? If so i just want to know the estimate cost and and how difficult it was. Thanx.
actualy i've heard of the f20c bolting up to a k20a2 transmission. i cant remember the thread but i think they bolt right up. so technically, if the information is true, it should be about as "easy" as a k swap. but it would cost around the same as a k swap
we did the swap in a tubed front end 97 civic coupe with a Dana 40 rear end and a custom turbo setup making 453WHP on stock engine

And then you realize that the mounts bolt to the sides of the engine because it's meant to be in a longitudinal position. In a Civic - for you vocabulary challenged - that means that the mounts on an S2000's block will face the firewall and the core support.
So, I guess what I'm saying is don't do this unless you're running a tube-frame, rear-wheel-drive drag car like the gentleman a couple posts up.
