Headrest Speaker
I am looking into swapping a set of S2000 seats into my civic and as I was researching the swap I found some headrest speakers for the seats, does anyone have some info on them like size, power, etc.... Are they just regular speakers like door speakers or are they some kind of bass package that is optional? I search already and came up empty handed so any info will help. Thanks.
OK I found 2 post about this but it didn't really give me any info about size or power of them. Does no one in here have some information on these?

imho 400 dollar will not get you alot of speaker from honda, those are design for S, which only have a pair of speakers.
if you putting it in your civic, don't even bother

Just a note of clarification...the MY06 headrest speakers are incorporated onto the sides of the rollbars. The optional headrest speakers Honda manufactures go directly behind the seat in the headrest opening.

They are a pair of speakers that goes behind the headrest of the s2k seats. I found it useful when the top is down. But since you are putting it in a Civic, I wouldn't bother. It just feel like having a speaker directly behind your ear.

Go old school and just keep a boom box on your shoulder.

Yea I would really like to find some where to mount another set of speaking in the S.
It looks like it would be difficult (lack of space)
Any one ever seen speaker mounted some where in the rear?
Other then the headrest setup?
If not, then replacing the factory front speakers, with some good aftermarket ones
And a good Alpine headunit might do the trick.
Also I have a 00, so I have no door tweeters.
The only way for me to get door tweeters is by replacing my door panels with 01+ ?
Or can i just add the door tweeters to my doors?
Could I mount some on my pillars, or do you think that would look bad?

One of the only investments in my S2k and I love it. It's great for cruising with the top down and listening to music.
