Aftermarket Carpet for 91hb
I checked at the dealership, and they can only order blue carpet. No more new OEM black carpet... EVER. I don't want used carpet, only new. I've read the posts about low quality aftermarket carpet, but that's my only real choice. So please, if you have had a good experience with an aftermarket carpet company post it up. And maybe some of you are ****-retentive like me and would take pictures of your AM carpet install. I'd love to see 'em. Thanks in advance.
I used Stockinteriors.com... however... not without a LOT of work. The carpet was high quality, however, if you think you're just gonna drop this in, it ain't hapen'n... I thought it would take the better part of an afternoon, it was more like the better part of two weekends. I'm still not happy with the results, but it was cheap, and its better than what was in there.

I ended up removing almost EVERYthing from the inside of the car, including the bottom console mount, just to get the carpet in, much less to fit. IF you take your time, it will turn out nice(er) than what you had... If I was doing it again, I'd pay to have a shop do it. It might turn out better than I could as a first try. In the end, I was just rushing to try to get the seats back in so I could drive it to work the next day...
What is it about the carpet that you are still not happy with? I don't mind taking time to cut out holes for mounts/bolts/etc. But poor fitment may be a deal breaker. I don't think I could live with wrinkles from too much material or gaps from too little. How does the AM stuff attach to the car? My car now has no carpet at all, so I don't know how it's supposed to attach. ...And thank you very much for the help!

i went with stockinteriors.com for carpet for my crx and the fit was awesome. I didnt have to trim that much, but cutting through the extra padding is a pain. LMAO I was very happy with them shipping was real fast too
