how to remove and install crv auto tranny..
i know this isnt the right forum but the one for truck and suv kinda sucks so im asking you guys. my question is what should i expect when im doing this. is there any specialty tool that i might need to use. i did my own swap on my crx and did put in a new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. This isnt going into a crx or hatch, its for my brother. It sems that his diff took a **** on him, dont know why but it did. Thjey want to charge him 1200 to put in a rebuilt one. So i offerd him to do it. i can prolly get the tranny for like 200 or so. so any tips and pics would be great..
Thanxs in advance..

Well I have pulled auto trannys out of DAs at the junk yard and they are heavy, alot heavier than the manual ones, when we did a clutch in my friends accord we had to drop the whole motor, may be the same deal with the CRVs could really tell you but dropping a motor isn't to hard and could save you the time....espcially if you don't have access to a lift for the car...rent a hoist and lower the motor to the floor, or just jack up the car up and put it on stands and use the floor jack to lower the motor onto some boards...thats just general info but hopefully help, Id seriously consider dropping the entire motor
