Default Dash board parking brake light problem.

I have a 96 PRelude Si. A few weeks ago i was pulling out of my neighborhood and i had to pull out rather quickly and i noticed a red light on my dashboard out the corner of my eye. It turns out it was my parking break light on my dash and it began coming on every time i would go fast through first gear and would go off after i shifted in to second. But as time goes on it began to come on more frequently in other gears and even when i made quick turns. I have noticed that when the light does go off it is almost all the time when i put the clutch down to shift into a higher gear. Any ideas?

You probably are low on brake fluid. Check it out and top it off. When its low it can/will make the brake light on the dash flicker or come on at random times.

lol and probably just saved your life. I had a 87 crx and I spilled a can of sprite down by the ebrake handle. A couple days later, my brake light is on and I thought I probably just shorted it out. Turns out I was low on fluid. Whoops. You live and you learn.
