I NEED HELP. I've had problems with the shifter in my EG8 since I had the transmission swaped to an EX. The shifter slides around in gear (Car stays in gear though) as well as neutral (Shifter doesn't spring to center) and you almost have to push the shifter out of the center console to get to 1st and 2nd as well as 5th and reverse. I tried to serch the forums on this site but the only posts I found never got answered. Can anyone give me an answer for a fix?

are all your shifter rubbers in place?
if not it could be your shift rod *****
