Today I tried driving my bro's car and the clutch pedal was resting on the floor. The only way to bring it back up is to put my foot under the pedal arm and bring it back up. The car doesn't want to get in gear and when I force it there's some chatter.
It started going bad a few days ago, when you'd have to pump it a bit to get the pedal back up. It progressively worsened to the point where the pedal won't come back up.
The car was borrowed the past few days and the person called me about it when he started having problems with it.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a leak. Check the clutch master cylinder and make sure it is full. If it is, you may want to bleed the system then to make sure there is no air in the line.
