ok my 93 accord does not run hot. however when i turn the car off the fan runs hard for a few minutes, doesnt seem normal. any input appreciated.

 

It's normal, I think after the 5th gen, it stopped doing that fan thing.

 

all the accords do it even the new ones usually do you do not the fan running unless it is really hot outside. I believe that the setpoint is coolant temp is over 215F. My 1994 and 98 cars do it on days where the temps are in the 100s

 

yes very normal...my 97 lx does it all the time...after turning off the car with-in 1 minuet the fan kicks on for about 1 1/2 minuets then turns off...
