I want to remove and then reinstall my front and rear windows so I can do a very thorough painting job.

I'm looking for a few pointers! What do I use to reinstall the windows after I finish the paint?

 

to remove the front window I used a hook knife they have them at any hardware store i think its used for tile, just get under from the inside and keep on cutting, I have heard of using piano wire once you get a hole big enough to get it through and pulling it back and forth like a saw to cut the adhesive. good luck its a pain, how old is your original windsheild? if its pitted just buy a new one, and you will have to buy new moldings from honda that go around the window you cant reuse them

 

i used old guitar strings. just drilled a hoel with a drill , put the string through, and saw through it.. pain in the *** but doable. helps if the car has been sitting in the sun all day
