Default Will a '94 EX trans work in a '90 CRX Si?

Noobie here. I just picked up a CRX that I'm converting to a track and hillclimb car. And I've got a line on a really really cheap '94 Civic EX trans with a Quaife in it. But I'm not sure if 1) the trans will bolt to the motor & 2) the axles will work with the trans.

Thanks!

It will not work. Your CRX uses a cable tranny and the 94 Civic uses a hydro tranny. But there is a kit you can buy to convert from cable to hydro I believe. IMO, Ion't think it's worth the money.

Buy the EX tranny. Put the Quaife in your CRX Si tranny, and the diff from the Si into the EX. Sell the EX tranny and make $150 back.
