I bount My 92 integ three days ago. When in drive it kicks and dies on me. I had three amps in the car but i took them out because i thought it was the reason. My Kenwood Cd player keeps turning off and on when i turn it up past 29. It still shuts off and on, my lights don't dim or nothing. I think it is bad wiring. Have any of you have the same prob. oh the timing belt was changed I was told. It seems it is idoled low. What should the the RPM's be at?

Since you changed the timing belt, are you sure your timing is correct. That would cause it to run bad

 

O nevermind i thought you said you changed it

 

How low is the idle? The idle screw might need to be adjusted if the prior owner was playing with it. If you turn the a/c off, and rev it slightly, to bout 1200rpm, then put it in drive, does it work without stalling? Your iacv might also have a problem.

I would pull the alternator off and have it tested. The next thing is to check your fuel fitler.
