Set it at zero and use the timing marks to the left of the
TDC mark on the crank pulley..
The one in the center of the three marks.

Make sure to jump the service connector before attemping to set..

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 88DXCRX &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Set it at zero and use the timing marks to the left of the

or, set the light to 18 and use the TDC mark (one by itself to the right of the three together)

At work I usually just set the timing gun to the advanced reading the label under the hood list and use the white line on the crank pulley either way it doesnt matter if the gun is set at zero your just watching the red line on the distributer

I've read about the service connector before but I can't find it on my car.
1990 CRX Si with stock D16A6 engine

Any pics or pointers on where it is?

Thanks.

Passenger footwell, in front of the door, over on the right side of the cabin.
