Default Centrifugal Supercharger for prelude(h22)?

What manufacturers make one? I have to buy one for a prelude and modify it to fit my h22 accord. Any experience/advice?

nobody... J/R makes a roots type, but thats about it... you will have to modify a vortech or something like that.... probably not possible.

probably not ^^^
centrifugal=looks like a turbo, but a pulley drives it not exhaust gases
roots=uses "internal funnels" to blow air

p.s. Im just now learning about all this above, so if Im wrong someone jump in and correct me

actually, the vortech centrifugals I've seen (99-00 civic si's) are shaft driven I think, and the shaft is driven by the belt. So, yeah, belt driven but still.....
They use the shaft because the belts are on the left side of the car and the SC sits on the right.

People have done it. Its really not that hard if you want one. Just takes some effort and a little bit of fabbing
Thats what I am going for, You can also get a 11psi upgrade pulley here -

I looked into the whole centrifugal supercharger thing for the h22. I found 2 people who had them and I was never able to get ahold of anyone for information. there are two options mount the compressor on the front of the engine which would mean definatly no a/c and maybe no powersteering. or run it like they do in the civic/integra with the bar across the front and they mount it to the tranny.

The website h22a.org it has been down for about 2 years. had a dyno sheet from a vortech'd h22 in a civic. I have tried to get incontact with no feedback.

I would love to have a vortech but I ran out of money during the fabrication stage and could not afford a unit to take mesurements.

Thanks man.

My other question would be, what is the difference between a jrsc for a prelude and a jrsc for a prelude sh?

I looked into this a year or two ago, this is a custom kit I found from ProCharger:

Of course, with some custom mounting brackets & piping, it would haul ***, building boost w/RPM's (8-10 psi) which is ideal for FWD apps.
