Default H22 Balance Shaft Belt Installation Question

When installing the balance shaft belt, I see how to line up the front balance shaft pulley... and I know the crank should be at TDC... but the rear balance shaft pulley is confusing me. I can open up the "maintenance hole" and stick something in there, but it moves a little either way cause i dont have anything the exact size to put in there. I would think that there would be some alignment marks... and I see an alignment mark on the pulley but it doesnt point to anything when I have something put in the maintenance hole.

wtf?

thanks

-Charles

balancer belt install instructions: open bag, take belt out, place belt in trash can. done

you dont need that junk, throw it away. balancers are there for fat americans who dont want the car to shake at idle.

One tooth off will vibrate badly. No belt at all will add lil HP and slight if any notice able vibration at idle.

you're getting what you pay for with the Kaizenspeed kit... but you don't really need what you get. the kit and instructions make it easy and near idiot-proof, but if i ever build another H/F block i'll go the DIY route. it's just as effective and less than half the price in parts.
