Default Gsr with JRSC?!..

I'm more savvy on turbo setups...internals..etc...but with a supercharger specifically jackson sc, could you run safely on a completely stock motor as a daily driver? say using the standard psi pulley of 7lb i think, and not boosting any higher.

find the smallest pulley you can get and overspin that bitch till it glows red hot but then youll still only make the power of a built n/a b series.

Good luck, I ran my Jackson @ 8lbs for about 2 years w ZERO problems, and that was even on an FMU way back when.

Lol... you're right, those 180whp N/A LSVTECs are killer.

It'll be a fun daily driver, even on just 6-7psi. All you need is the MAP controller and the FMU and you're good to go with stock boost.

With Hondata you don't use an FMU, you use bigger injectors.

your an idiot lol. You can make just as much power N/A as you can with those JrSC. 200whp can be had with all oem parts.200-220whp allmotors b series are very common and thats about all the power youd make with ur pos charger. dont waste ur 2 grand. Fmu's suck even with moderate boost get something worthwhile.

Go eat a dick, the OP asked if he could run it on a stock motor as a DD, not for some BS ranting about SC vs. turbo vs. NA. The last thing we need is another ignorant fucktard hating on SC's.

my freakin sohc made around 180whp with a jackson, 9.5psi and a completely stock 1.5L sohc motor..

I have a feeling a gsr won't have much trouble making good power in the mid 200's without building the motor.

jackson kits cost only 2k new, cheaper used
i don't see why people hate on em.

Get a life Quicksilver, you try to act like you know soooo much. If you have an all motor B18 making 220 whp, and a jrsc B18 220 whp, the jrsc setup WILL be faster.......you're forgetting about the torque the blower makes, it's called power above the curve, and the NA motor doesnt have it.

Go be a Fricking JACKASS somewhere else, I can't stand people like you!!!!!!!!!!

Oh ok it makes sense now, you're only 17, and you just surf on line. I think your forgetting some of us have been racing Hondas since the early 90's, and have seen the evolution of the sport.

Wether you're runinng an all motor, supercharged, turbo, N2O....it doesnt matter, they all have there benefits, and there all FUN.

Sorry for ranting, this thread needs to be locked

Full retail price on a new GSR or ITR kit from Jackson Racing is $2195. They dropped the prices a while back. Post in the JR thread ( https://honda-tech.com/zerothre...e=193 ) for a used kit.
