MY MSD WIRES KEEP POPPING OFF MY D16A6 DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY THEY WOULD DO THAT? I CHECKED THE COMPRESSION FOR SOMETHING ELSE AND NOTICED THAT SMOKE CAME OUT EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE COMPRESSION TESTER SCREWED IN.

To answer you question: MSD sucks. get NGK. I have never had a problem with NGK but have had several with MSD and other aftermarket.

 

plugs stick into valve cover via suction. push them down all the way w/ yer palm. they should dip in a bit. you can then twist but not pull straight out w/o effort

actually I had the same problem with my msd wires. I emailed the company and they offered to replace them, but I didnt feel like buying another set of wires to send those pos away. Anyway, when it came time to buy wires for my b16, I went NGK, those msd wires suck ***** (at least for the fit).

 

I had good luck with Accel 300+ wires. just make sure you don't reuse your stock holders, because my set was missing the retainers, and it licked *****. make sure you get a complete set, and use the gel they give you, because I broke mine
