when you buy oem style, most of them dont have hole for you to screw it too, you have to drill holes and do more work to make it fit

the fake one is a little bit wider on the side
the OEM real one is more thinner looks more clean
I use to have the fake one didn't really like it even tho there wasn't a big difference

Yea I got my OEM lip for $140 picked up off a fellow HT member. Was just saying, if he's looking for something new, no sense going with a new oem over the comptech.

this guy has a real ITR Lip for sale. Brand new also https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1684359

If i had some extra money, I would buy it from him. I have the Comptech now, the fitment is ok but you can tell its not OEM. From a distance you cant tell but once you get pretty close, you will recognize the difference. I say either Comtech or if you get a chance to get an OEM, go OEM.

This is very true. I was looking into getting a "style" one until I saw pics of the knockoffs, but I just saved a bit longer and scored an OEM Type R lip for $120!!!! I just got blessed! I see some going for $200-$250, just keep looking.
