motor mount question
my friend has a b16 in his crx. he hit a pothole or something and he broke his hondata motor mount. its the one on the left if ur facing the engine bay. he sent it bac to get repaired but he needs to drive it so he bought used mounts not hondata. does he have to swap all the mounts or can he just replace the one thats broken til the hondata one gets bac??? and if this helps the hondata ones are thicker but we got bolts from lowes and got the other mount on fine we just needed to know if it will hurt anything with the one different motor mount.
Hondata doesnt make mounts ..? right?
For that passenger side mount you can actually use a stock 90-93 integra mount....But i dont know how it will feel,,having 2 stiff mounts and 1 regular..And no front ....Although what do i know about hondata mounts? Hondata mounts?

Where did he get hondata mounts from? maybe he meant hasport?

Umm, I would assume all the mounts were designed together to position the motor specifically. I'm not sure you can mix and match unless the original creators of the mounts had the same vision for positioning the motor in the bay.
Thats my Crx he is talking about. I bottomed out on a particular nasty pothole that I didnt see because it was pitch black. Im trying to sell the car fast so I found a set of Place Racing motor mount on ebay for less than 100$. I got the mount in fine but due to the locations(Hasport not being designed to work with Place Racing) the bushing is being pulled out of the Place Racing Tranny mount. It works if that will help anybody out in the future but I definitely would rather have a complete set not mix and matched but Im too lazy to change the subframe mount out.
