im planning on dropping my 1997 prelude type-SH. im on a buget and not lookin into gettin any adjustible suspension. i read about neuspeed race springs that drop 2.2.5/2.0 and can leave stock shocks for now. i dont plan on auto X or nothing just wanna drop it. wanted to know every ones opinions on the neuspeed. or any other springs that you guys might know of in that 2.0 drop area. thanks

neuspeed and h&r use the same springs. they are the same size, shape, spring rate, etc...so just buy the one you can find for the cheapest. i haven't really dealt with any other springs before, but i will say that i love the nuespeed/h&r springs!

also, you should look into an alignment before you install the springs. make sure you know a shop that will align a LOWERED honda, and make an appointment no later than two weeks after you lower the car.

i would say you have about a month or two before your shocks go bad. race springs and stock shocks don't last long. and when you rip your suspension apart to install the shocks, which should raise your car about 0.5"-1", you will have to align your car again. i would recommend that you be patient and install the springs and aftermarket shocks together. it will save you time and money.

It could be either, depending which perch you use on the Konis.
