Default another test pipe question

i need help figuring out some sizes of pipe and what all i need to make a test pipe. OK, first off i don't car if i pollute the environment so don't bother. as of now i have a gutted cat on the car but i was told by a few people that i should get a test pipe instead because the gutted cat will cause turbulence in the exhaust flow. here's the info on the car, EG hatch, D16Z6, Apexi GT header (4-2-1) into a gutted cat and then Apexi world sport 1 exhaust.

these are the things i need to know.
-where can i buy the flanges i will need?
-how long and what size pipe should i get?

any other info ya'll could provide would be great. i have also been tossing around the idea of putting a cutout in it. thoughts? i figure with as quite as this exhaust is it has to be kinda restrictive, am i wrong?

thanks for any help

1.) a testpipe or gutted cat will do jack **** but make your car stink and rasp more when you get on it. It's a stock compression, stock head D16Z6. You seem not to care though, so I'll answer your questions.

2.) you can buy flanges from your local Napa or Advance Auto. They might have to order them and they'll probably order the wrong ones unless you make a handful of measurements to insure that you're asking for the right flanges.

3.) how the expletive should we know how long of a pipe you need? You have an aftermarket header and an aftermarket exhaust with a stock cat in the middle. Maybe you should - I dunno... - ******* measure the catylitic converter?

OH MY GOD! THE STUPID IS MAKING ME PHYSICALLY ILL! I CAN'T SURVIVE IN THIS ATMOSPHERE MUCH LONGER. -gasp- -gurgle- -hork- -hulp- -hhhhhhhhhhhhhh....-

please don't save yourself, do us all a favor and die.

as for the smell most the time i'm driving my car, i'm inside it and the exhaust is outside so i really don't give a expletive how it smells. as for the test pipe or gutted cat giving it more "rasp"... this is at WOT. Yeah, it's real raspy.

The smell will come into the cabin from the shifter area, dumbass. I'm glad you know what you're doing though . You're obviously the more educated, experienced mechanic/technician in this thread Enjoy spending more money on your D16Z6 Civic
