DB8 C-Pillar Bars
Does anyone know what brands make c-pillar bars for DB8s? So far, I found out that the J's Racing one wont fit. My friend that works at Password: JDM is going to contact EM Racing to check if their Quick Release c-pillar bar will fit the DB8 since it's adjustable.

I have already tried retrofitting one on my db8. It requires cutting the rear panels to allow the eyelets a place to mount. Then you need to fabricate a bracket to mount it to. Its completely for display and serves no added performance or strength to your db. Its not worth making IMO, and no one makes one for the sedan.

And the c-pillar bars are more for show then anything and if you do mount 1 up to your DB it will be in the trunk.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah, I know there are brands that make rear strut bars for the DB8 already. Thx for the advice guys! Appreciate it.

Where? How Much? By Who? and How Soon?
I have to see this...its almost worth it to see the maker and mind behind this one.

Haha, it's nothing to get hyphy about. It's the same C-Pillar that 90% of the guys use on their Civic's, it's just longer to fit the DB. You'll have to dremel the plastic to expose the rear seat belt bolts, but other than that it's fine.

No seat belt bolts on a DB....they have their own roller system under the rear deck lid...

I believe honda engineered a c pillar bar right into the car. They came up with a fancy name for it... a package tray I think it is.
Seriously though, there is no need/benefit for one on a DB. The metal behind the rear seat serves as the c pillar bar.

my sedan has a huge c-pillar bar. enough to fit in a set of 6x9's and a taillamp.
just kidding. but that rear deck adds a whole lot of rigigigddiiitty when compared to the open hatch area of a coupe.

Here's a pic for reference, not the best. The PWjdm bar blocks some of it. I would also like to see the DB pillar bar.

Bro, the C-Pillar Area is above the rear deck lid, where you would find your 6x9 speakers. If you too have a bar going from end to end, behind the rear seat, thats not your c-pillar bar. Thats just another reinforcement bar.

Exactly, There is no benefit in terms of performance.
On another note, in a 4dr Teg, its not easier to carry people in the car...just easier to get them in and out. I personally find the car just as small as a DC2. Only passenger I carry goes in the front seat.
And the C pillar bar, if ever made, would not smack people on the back of their head....unless you have tall people sitting back there.

Im not trying to show my strut bar, but the belt holders (dont know name) behind it, I said not the best picture. Also there is no place for a pillar bar where most DC's put there's, and I already knew this.

So do you have a bar going from end to end, where the seat belt assemblies are found, or on the back seat frame, where the open hole is?
