i was just browsing through my sites and i was looking at some oem acura parts and came across this. item number 21

where does it connect? and does this help stabilize shifting? beacause i know my 93 hatch doesn't have this.

 

it looks like the heat shield for the exhaust or just to keep the shifter from hitting it.

 

ahh, that makes sense. on the site it only says plate, but doen't say what type of plate.

its mounts over the end of the shift stabilizer on the transmission. i think it protects the bushing from heat coming from the exhaust. no, it doesn't not help stabilize shifting.

 

my 99 dx hatch dosnt have one either...

 

b-series motors only have it.
