Most dealerships will add locks to the car for insurance purposes --- sometimes they sell the car so fast they dont add them --- like my 06 350Z --- but generally they add them on for 50-75 to the price of the car

Is it really for insurance purposes? Maybe it is but who still jacks up cars and steals wheels these days? Those wheels aren't that special. I'm just guessing that it's mainly to make money but I could be wrong. Before I bought the Fit one dealer wanted $125 for the wheel locks - saying that's standard procedure for them. But then so is the whole doc fees thing too.

Our Fit Sport will have them. Not sure if it's a dealer thing though....

It is available as an accessory if the dealer doesnt put them on beforehand. You can buy them anywhere or online.
