It's easier to do with a vector based program like Illustrator, instead of something like PS.

i agree. but PS is also easy to use for something like that...just create the shape, and brush different colors everywhere. But i personally prefer illustrator for anything vector

I just did it in Photoshop CS2. I own full Creative Suite 2, so I have Illustrator... but I have NO IDEA how to use it.
